Venue: Harker 2, Department of Earth Sciences
Join us on Monday 17th March from 12-3pm to hear about all the exciting volcanology and petrology research from students within Cambridge, from PtII/III to PhD!
The CVG Student Symposium is an excellent opportunity to hear about all the great research being undertaken by students, but also a great opportunity for students to share what they have been working on! We encourage any PtII/PtIII, Masters or PhD student who are involved in volcanological or petrological research to sign up for a short talk! Please fill out the google form here to sign up: SIGN UP TO SPEAK HERE.
The session will be split by theme into two periods: the first half on Volcanic Processes and Society, and the second half on Magmatic Processes and Ore Deposits, with time for lunch in between. Feel free to drop in for any talks you are interested in; a schedule will be released in due course once the speaker line-up is finalised.
The deadline to sign-up is end-of-day Tuesday 11th March.
Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us at volcanology@esc.cam.ac.uk if you have any questions!
