Robert Green

Robert Green now works as a senior data scientist at the Ministry of Justice, after completing a PhD and postdoctoral work at Cambridge in volcano-seismology.

Old bio: Robert Green uses passive seismic data collected in Iceland to study the seismicity of volcanic rift zones in central Iceland. In particular this includes the triggered seismicity that accompanied the 2014-15  Bárðarbunga-Holuhraun rifting event in central Iceland. He is also using seismic tomographic techniques to build a model of the 3D velocity structure of the volcanic rift zones, in order to image the melt storage regions within the Icelandic crust.
