Tom Hudson is now a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Oxford after graduating with a PhD from Cambridge in volcanology.
Old bio: Tom Hudson works with the Cambridge volcano seismology group and the British Antarctic Survey, investigating seismicity induced by volcanic and sub-glacial processes. Part of my research involves using micro seismicity to track melt movement within the Earth’s crust that feeds volcanoes such as Bardarbunga, Iceland, before and after eruptions. Other research interests include sub-glacial micro seismicity, specifically ice and rock fracture near the glacier-bed interface.
